I am trying to implement the CNAME option for Bing strict safe search by creating a zone for Bing and adding a CNAME for strict.bing.com. I get the same error as Pete - "an alias (CNAME) record cannot be added to this DNS name. The DNS name contains records that are incompatible with the CNAME record." I tried creating strict.bing.com as a DNAME under Bing forward lookup zone as suggested, but that just breaks access to the site at all. What am I missing?
