When running a skeleton timetable for Summer 2015 some exams appear which we haven't imported basedata for this season. They are all exams that pupils have sat in previous years but are not required this year (one code hasn't been used for 3 years.) When we open the basedata tree in' import basedata' none of these awards are ticked. When we look at the list of awards that have been imported they don't appear (so we can't delete the award). They are not linked as an award to any course in course manager. Our LA SIMS helpdesk couldn't help. This was the suggestion they received from Capita:-
"Right click the Series in the Basedata, and select Include an Exisiting Award you will probably see them in there. If you include the Award, you can then right click that Award and select Include and Exisiting Element. Once you've included those, you can remove them one by one by working up the basedata tree. "
However this didn't work either as the awards weren't there.
Does anyone have any idea how they got onto the skeleton timetable and how we get rid of them? I know when we have entries and run the skeleton timetable for 'entries only' the problem will go away but it undermines my faith that things are working correctly
