So I have a new Nexus 5 but for some reason, it is completely (at random) playing 8-bit style interference. It's the kind you get when you have a mobile phone too close to a speaker, but it's coming FROM the phone. I say playing because the interference is ALWAYS the same, a 'tune' of sorts that just loops. It does it if the phone is locked, unlocked, and will continually play if you use the phone. The only way I can seem to stop it is to 'drag' down the status bar at the top. The last time it did this, I got a recording and uploaded it to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqHH1RJWqaQ I've scoured the internet and I can't seem to find ANYONE with this issue. The fact it also seems to play a tune has me doubting if it really is a hardware fault or not. Any suggestions or ideas as to what is happening?

It is stock Android, but does not have some of the features that CyonegenMod has such as lock screen shortcuts.

Has anyone used the new CyanogenMod automatic installer on a Nexus 5? if so, did you encounter any problems or did it run smoothly? [h=1][/h]
