  1. In this case they are not splitting the class it's more a case of "team teaching". It's not something we do a lot, it's just where a teacher is under-used which occasionally happens. I will let you know what happens when I send it across into SIMS ...
  2. I haven't actually had a chance to test it out to see which teacher it will take as I am in the middle of a set of complex changes that come in after half-term. I will let you know what happens when I send it across to SIMS. You may well be right that it is just alphabetic - I was hoping there might be a way to control it but maybe there isn't. It's probably quite an unusual scenario really. Thanks for your replies anyway.
  3. Sorry I shoudl have said : What I dont know is how to control which teacher's name is printed on student timetables when there are two teachers (B and C in my example above) both of whom are taking the same lesson and NEITHER of which is the main teacher.
  4. Thanks vikpaw but I am still not sure that answers my question . I know how to get the teachers to share a lesson, how to get the right number of lessons for each teacher , schedule and how to set up the main teacher etc. What I dont know is how to control which teacher's name is printed on student timetables when there are two teachers (B and C in my example above) NEITHER of which is the main teacher.
  5. Sorry I may not have explained it properly. There are actually three teachers who take the class in all, lets call them A,B and C. A is the main teacher and takes most of the lessons but one lesson is taken by B and C together. Neither of these is the main teacher, so the question is how can I control which of these would show on students' timetables?
  6. I have a situation where two teachers are taking the same lesson (at the same time) and I have set it up in Nova T6 to enable this. My question is this: when I send the timetable across to SIMS, how does SIMS decide which teachers name to print on the students' timetables? Presumably if one the teachers is designated as the "main" teacher of the class in Nova T6 then it would choose to to print this one but what if neither of the two teachers happens to be the main teacher for the class? Can it be controlled which name should be printed on the student timetables? I have tried looking in the documentation but I can't seem to see anything covering this exact scenario ... can anyone shed any light on this? Hope you can help - many thanks.
