ICT Data Manager/Support Assistant

c. £28K pro-rata (80.77% FTE), Term time plus 3 weeks
We are seeking to employ a capable and self-motivated ICT Data Manager/Support Assistant who will take responsibility for the School's SIMS database and other records. Notre Dame School is a very ambitious school and this is a key appointment.
The role is responsible for:
the accurate management of the Schools Information Systems, primarily SIMS, across the school
producing reports and analyses as required;
leading the development and use of all MIS systems to ensure a high level of effectiveness of all users
This will mean establishing strong working relationships with people responsible for such areas as the timetable, exams, HR, assessment and reporting, student data, attendance and behaviour.
This role will also provide an ICT technical support service to the School and support the maintenance and development of the School’s ICT resources.
Given the complexities of SIMS management it is essential the post holder is tenacious, flexible and has good influencing skills. Other important characteristics include initiative and a team player.
We expect that the successful applicant will also have strong MS Word and Excel capability. They will be comfortable working with data and using analytical skills.
