Because any loss of data during school working hours I am not solely responsible for as such but if its somones personal non school laptop you could be accountable for it or at least they would try to appoint blame

Hi just asking for any advice on private work seperate from the school, I'm thinking its an absoulute minefield to look at teachers personal laptops etc out of working hours? I regularly get asked to, you could be put in all sorts of blame game situations. Does anyone have any non liability contract examples they use for private work? what should they cover? Many thanks in advance to any help

Hi all Is there anyway to have duplicate display as the only option when connecting a projector? i'm guessing there isnt as i havent discovered it so far in my meagre nine months in an ICT role. Essentially the problem is every time a teacher uses PowerPoint and then closes it the display for some reason defaults to extended mode which is frustrating for teachers if their lesson needs to use it, i think this could possibly be linked to the new presenter mode in PP 2013? Many Thanks for any help on this

Hi, thanks in advance for any kind help on this. I currently have an isolated machine that we are unable to access the staff shared T: drive on (tried re-mapping it) tried using a number of administration log-ins will full rights and still no luck, it recognizes the drive is there but doesn't indicate any capacity details, the drive works for every other machine

Im a technician in training and That's exactly what i do and it's the common protocol for the issue. Happens quite regularly though and often more than one machine in the class with the issue so an overall fix is much coveted

The ignore real failures bit worries me a little?

Hi many thanks We have managed to resolve this issue. Our papercut account had exceeded its number of licenced users apparently and that was causing the issue goes to prove its not always related to the printer itself or the network

Hi I am new to this site (and indeed new to ICT) Not sure if anyone has any ideas on this but I am trying to print to a HP deskjet 694C in my office, it says the printer is online and functioning correctly, went to HP to download the latest driver but surprise surprise they don't provide a downloadable driver (have tried other sources) Basically the issue is you go to print and it sends the job to the print queue successfully but it goes straight to pause and when you right click to say start/resume job it only prints about an eight of a page. Anyone else had any similar issues? I should add the printer isn't faulty as someone else printed to it fine Many Thanks in advance
