Don't mean to be stirring trouble up but I got more than that when I was working at a retail store and being an ICT tech is a lot more stressful. Ah well.

I think my personal distaste for the girl came from that horrible BBC three show she had. She's got no talent and the only reason she's where she is, is because her Daddy got her there. There are a lot of people in the industry like that but at least they don't make personal attacks against the public and feel proud for doing things like shortchanging a cabbie; when they make so much money.

The other thing is she seems to think the people who are going to catch the file-sharers aren't people who are interested in file-sharing. I mean that is the esential thing isn't it. She needs to understand that if people can get something for free (and as long as the internet is about, they will be able too) they will, no matter if it's hurting so called artists like herself. If someone loves music enough they will do it for the love of music rather than the love of money and she is clearly doing it for the love of the money. I'm not disagreeing with you just for the sake of it but.... really.. you think she's good. Since the day I heard her first track and then found out about who her dear old dad was I felt she was just in the industry cause she could make a lot of money without having to do be actually talented.

I love the fact that she thinks she's a musician. Like what she's doing is skilled and important. She#s writing like she's living in a cardboard box under a railway station, playing music to the people who pass by because she loves the music so much. What she's actually doing is producing streams and streams of cack that someone in a mixing room is fixing up to make it tolerable and she's earning loads of money and then telling us she deserves more. It reminds me of that South Park, where the policeman was trying to make the boys feel bad for downloading an .mp3 because R-Kelly couldn't buy an island in french polynesia. This isn't about the legality of downloading music or movies, she just wants to get paid more. My personal opinion is that the music industy has had pirating since the 60's ( people recording stuff onto tape etc) and if they haven't found a way to deal with it by now then it deserves to be in a state. ----------- Edit: I'm writing from what I've heard on the news about this debate ( her blog etc) so if I got any of that wrong, I give my apology

The playback of certain video in premiere depends greatly on which codecs you have installed on a the machine. It will play fine in vlc or windows media player but in Premiere you will get problems unless the right codec is installed and finding that right codec may be a problem. You should have a look at the offical abode forums for others who are having this problem. I've had a look and it mostly seems to be an issue with the speed of the machine you are editing with.

3 most definitely is and I'm sure 7 is as well.

We are currently on Premiere Elements 3, moving up to 7. I would suggest using this because it is simple to use after a little bit of tutorage and it will allow them to gain familiarity with the abode software, rather than with something like serif, they wouldn't be able to pass over the knowledge they gained to Premiere Cs 4. I found that Premiere is fairly happy with mp4's etc.

Hi, First post here so go easy on me. Basically I have a really old projector program by the name of "City of Rome", (when I say old I mean going on a decade) and it wont run on any machines with over a gig of ram, which is most of the school. It gives the error; When run on those machines. If you put it on compability mode for Windows 95, it will run without the error but as it is a network program, I dont see any way of having it set up like that for all the users that will be using it. Is there anyway around this ? I've tried converting it using various freeware programs but unforunately due to the age of the program most of them dont even see it as a projector file at all. With a google search it tells me too; but it's not something I can be doing just for one program and on thousands of machines that use the program. Thanks for any help you can give.
