  1. Hi, Hope I'm posting in the correct place! I've recently been put in charge of turning all the paper copies of the new starter forms, into a digital format - being able to carry this info straight over to SIMS would be an added bonus! At the moment we send out approx. 6 forms, consisting of 15 sheets of paper to each year 6 parent (pupil registration, pupil background, photo consents, catering etc). If we can make this all digital then it would be a huge saving on time and money. Is there a platform, or any other way of doing this that you would recommend? Thanks, Jay
  2. I took this challenge on 3 years ago as our previous website was awful. It really depends on how much time and effort you want to put in to it, myself, I loved it and still do to this day. I don't use any sort of CMS, purely HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding using Dreamweaver, graphics on Photoshop and hosting done through Azure. Like I said though, it depends on the time you have. Not just building, but also maintaining. I built it within the 6 weeks holidays, along with all the policies etc, maintaining these days can be 10 mins a day to several hours depending on the content that needs creating. You could start off by playing around with one of the templates of Themeforest, go from there.
  3. Thanks, I have checked the wmjobs website and applied for one or 2, however the others aren't applicable to me as it's for a webdesign / developer . Jay
  4. Hi, I'm still looking to start ASAP in Worcestershire (and surrounding areas) if anyone knows of any jobs available? Thanks, Jay

  6. Hi, My family and I are relocating back to Worcestershire from Nottingham as soon as employment becomes available. I'm 30 years of age and am currently working for an internet hosting company as an IT and Server Technician, but have previously worked for a large independent school in Worcester as an ICT Technician from 2012 to 2013. I have been working within IT for over 10 years now (with no gaps in my employment). My skills range from IT desktop and maintenance, help desk, audio / visual equipment, server maintenance and also web design, I also like to attend Microsoft courses to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. Ideally I would like to be located at a school or college in Worcestershire, however I do have a full clean driving license and am able to commute if necessary. I do have an up to date CV which I will only send out to company and business email addresses. I am happy to be CRB checked and can also provide references. My current employer only requires 1 week notice. Please contact me if you require any more information, thank you for looking. Jay
