We have CASPA a data analysis program that runs of a server share and is accessed by a shortcut on the teachers desktop. It had been working fine however now when you run it it opens the CASPA splash screen but reports an error " The CASPA.INI file cannot be found." If I open up the share and double click on the CASPA.exe to run it I get the same error. I can't understand why it can't find it as the ini file is in the same folder as the CASPA.exe and I have checked that all the permissions are correct. I can open the ini file from the share so the permissions should be fine. This must be an Win 7 problem as it works fine on an old XP machine. Anyone else had this problem and solved it or have any ideas why this is happening?

I think they come in various disguises all based on the Intel learning series, the latest incarnation is the Classmate2. By the way the slot under the battery is for a 3G sim card I think and not a SD card reader, that is on the front left hand side on our Fizzbooks
