HI there, Been a while since I've logged in but I'm having a issue so any advice would be appreciated. We are going to be re imaging our IT suites, our network back bone is currently slow (1GB backbone with 10GB between servers), so as soon as we set 3 or more machines re imaging it drags the full network down and the only time the system doesn't get used is when we are closed over christmas. I have successfully manage to make a USB Pen that will load my image and run an unattended file apart from it kicks an error for the "%machinename%" and it doesn't join the network. 1: Machine name issue My temp solution behind this is to removed the "%machinename%" from the XML and it gives it a generic name instead, My assumption for is this is because it not going via WDS so it is unable to get its name linked to to its GUID? is there any way round this. Can I boot WinPE via WDS and then point it to install an image from USB using the XML file instead of the WDS? 2. unattended domain join. My guess work with this is that windows isn't coming up with the black setup screen after completing installtion so isn't running certain parts of the unattend file. If i am able to boot to WDS & then load image from USB, where do i put the Unattend, will this have to be injected into the install.WIM instead? Given we have 7 IT suites with 25 machines in we are wanting to try make it fully automated. I hope all of this makes sense in what im trying to do. Thanks in advance Chris

great stuff,. this has fixed the problem,. the PC has 2 HDMI ports,. which we are using a HDMI to DVI cable so they arn't detecting any headphones or speakers plugged in. when i plug in a USB 7.1 sound adapter everything is working fine. does anyone know of a registry edit or a way of tricking windows into thinking the sound is going through the HDMI?

This is happening across all the machine that a identical to this machines in the school. (5 IT Suites worth). as for bandwith as well and a iffy network card, why would it then go and work on Chrome? Reading up i believe Chrome has it own flash player built in, where as firefox & IE don't, alot of older comments ive read was when flash player 11 came out and caused problems,. but id hope that 13 would work fine.

Hi There, I am after a solution behind a youtube problem im having. when i i am using either IE or firefox youtube will play for a second then flicker and come up with "an error occured, please try again later. Learn More" I have tried different videos on youtube,. also tried everything in the learn more on youtube,. and doing a search on google for up to date info, with no avail. I am running Windows 7 fully updated with IE 11 (or firefox), Adobe flash player 13.0.0.214, Java 7 Update 60. Intel HD graphics 4000 (Version 9.17.10.2932) The internet is ran through a proxy, it seems to work fine through google chrome. We have other machines in school which work fine through both IE and Firefox. Any more info needed let me know Thanks in advance.
