While I have it on PS4, a few of my friends have it on PC and they say the hackers are pretty much gone. Ubisoft have gotten much more hot on with bans for exploits/hacks

Yes the 1.2 update really fixed a lot of the issues. The grind actually feels worth it as decent loot drops much more regularly.
