Just offering up this to help others out, as we ran into it first on Friday of last week and determined that the latest Flash update, 11.9, screws up the Smart Notebook flash animations. They just don't play after the Flash update. See here for details on how to resolve it for now -> KnowledgeBase - You're unable to interact with Adobe Flash Player objects in SMART Notebook software after updating to Adobe Flash Player 11.9.X Of note is the fact that we tried a previous version of Flash, also 11.8, but it was not the specific version listed in the link above, and it did NOT fix the animations, so it appears you have to use the 11.8.800.168 version of Flash to make it work properly.
