  1. I know this thread is kind of old and I don't know if you ever figured it out, but appdeploy.com has a good write up on the switches needed to deploy v3. AppDeploy > Package Knowledgebase > Vmware Player
  2. Here's the command line to install Movie Maker. You also have to install Picture Gallery, it's a prerequisite. I didn't want any other apps included either, but this was as trimmed down as I could get it. I can look up what the switches mean if you need to know. It's been a while since I set it up. wlsetup-all.exe /AppSelect:MovieMaker /NOToolbarCEIP /NOhomepage /Nolaunch /NOMO /nosearch /q
  3. What happens if you try using TARGETDIR on the command line. When we're packaging something we normally try to use the command line or creating an .mst file so we don't have to modify the original .msi.
  4. We have this problem on ours as well. No POST at all when we're using the onboard display port. We found that removing the riser card gave us video back. After looking into it a little further, it's only risers with one PCI and one PCIe slot. A dual PCI riser works fine. It seems that Dell machines are disabling the display port even though you have no add on video card installed. We opened a trouble ticket with Dell yesterday, if I hear back with a fix I'll be sure to let you know
  5. The easiest way to stop students from taking over with their own tutor is to set a security key on the stations. The tutor key has to match the student keys or they will refuse the connection.
