Hi I would be interested in hearing from anyone who uses Untangle firewall / filtering and who also use Kerboodle on line resources. We are having HTTPS inspection / dynamic IP address issues and can only get Kerboodle working by whitelisting 132000 IP addresses! Anyone got a neat fix?

Yes. Usually fine. Always worth contacting them and haggling.....good luck finding a phone number! Watch the return policy. Unbendable 7 days. Strangely the best source a.t.m for pallets of copier paper!

further thought after typing the post......those three user groups are also different in GP - but again no recent changes.......

We have suddenly got ONLY the first 10 images in a Google image search, the rest of the thumbnails are grey BUT they give the full image if you click them. NOT browser dependent. W7 clients and endian community filtering (can't find anything wrong here and nothing has been changed recently). The only thing that implies Endian may be at fault is the Pupils get all images, Admins get all images but Staff have the problem and these are three different firewall rules. There seems to be no recent changes to firewall, so rather confused!

We use server 2012R2 and clients on W7. We have printers deployed by print management. GP - teachers OU get all printers, Student OU get the two nearest printers to the machine they are using. PROBLEM Printers appear and vanish on a daily basis with no pattern! Any ideas?

Hi Apologies if this has been posted before ....I can't see anything. Pupils have discovered (I gather an old trick) that a hyperlink placed in a word document (2007) can get them to the machine 'C' drive that they do not normally have access to. NOT a massive issue ( and I can't see that it gets them any other accesses to our system). But SLT nervous and want it closed down. Anyone know of a way? Thanks

Does anyone know a way to stop private browsing in Safari on iPAds? OR a browser of reasonable function for the iPad where this is possible? Thanks

Yes we have the App store / downloads disabled. Filtering out 'some' BBC content seems tricky on Endian - it blocks all BBC or nothing! we are thinking of updating to the latest version of Endian but not sure if that will help?

Hi all First post so I hope this is understandable! We have 200 iPads deployed (staff and Pupils) Staff no problem. Pupils - nightmare! We use Configurator and Meraki. Filtering by Endian. We have for various technical reasons to protect data usage as our monthly data usage is restricted. Lesson usage is fine but pupils with iPads at break times and lunch times mean that the pupils WILL get up to all sorts of tricks to try and get around filters and use up data! The main difficulty is shutting down BBC iPlayer - what ever I do it seems to re-route. Pupils also seem to be able to set 'private browsing' so no history is stored. Has anyone found a practical way to REALLY control these machines? All thoughts welcome!
