Hi all, Just an opinion I'd like from you and how we would go about it. In the last 3-4 months I've been made a full time IT Support Technician and I'm training myself on the job. At the moment we have 3 rooms. IT suite, Main Office and Senior Management Team. Here is a diagram of the structure: http://puu.sh/5oV5Q.png We don't keep any files local (Or we try not too) We have a cloud server (Linux based Samba at a Data Center about 20 miles away). Everyone is an admin on their account because we have to put up with OCR's god awful software which requires an admin to run. Basically I want to make the whole system secure and faultless (I know right..) Sometime in the future I'l be turning the machine next to me into a server (FOG or using WDS) to make it so the machines aren't corrupt via software. ITV Former Apprentice star Katie Hopkins says Geldof girl Peaches got an easy ride on the This Morning sofa because she only agreed to come on the show and discuss attachment parenting if Katie "shut up and let her talk". Katie doesn't pull any punches as she also slams the dainty blonde mum for being spoilt and rips into her attachment parenting beliefs. w3 doesn't really explain anything they do, they don't explain the functionality and why 'this' method is better than another etc. PHP used to use MYSQL as their extension and now it is MySQLi. The database may still be MySQL but the OP will need to use MySQLi to connect to it for security reasons and whatnot. The problem with relying on w3 is it isn't part of the php site and therefore is just as opinionated as a forum. Using forums and refering to the php website is a great way to learn each segment, I didn't say to copy and paste, as you can do that from W3. Heck, when I was learning I copy pasted from w3 but learnt from forums. Also Forums can be great for learning: PHP Tutorials | DaniWeb

Sorry, worded it wrong. The wireless is just for connecting to the internet. They will be connected via a switch to the server. And I'm worried about the machines being out of action for a lengthy amount of time

http://puu.sh/59osz.png Hi All, So I just got the old server (We moved to the cloud) and It's had it's OS HDD formatted. So it's completely clean. Each of the slave machines have EXACTLY the same specs and are running on individual installations of Windows 7. Things to take into consideration: This needs to be done without error (haha yea right) I'm super worried I'l mess it up So many choices, all soooo confusing So this is my first deployment... I've never done this before and I'm so confused! It needs to be free, up to date and easy to manage. I've been given advice from some saying WDS and others saying FOG. Any opinions advice, REALLY easy guides are much appreciated. I attached a picture of our setup. All the machines have wireless network cards - This is for connecting to the internet. I will be using a switch to connect to the server.
