  2. Hey all! This is super frustrating as we have a parents evening in the next week or so. And as above... I have found SchoolCloud to be one of the better systems... normally. Is this affecting the SIMS Extract tool too for any of you? We are just getting stuck at the verifying System Name and API Key.
  3. Thanks @AntonioRocco We use a different address (hallcross.org) for our internal DNS and have kept our mac server using the .local address and then bound all of our macs to that. Completely standalone from the rest of the network - but on the same network infrastructure as such. We have Jigsaw24 taking a look for us and will report back any findings but may need to call on your assistance so you may hear from me/us soon
  4. Cheers @Mark182 They were high on the list as I have dealt with them before. The errors we are facing as attached... but this is happening randomly to accounts and computers so it hasn't been pinned down to anything specific yet. As a side note, it is a pure open directory server no magic triangle malarky.
  5. Morning Just a quick one and I'm hoping you can help me here... we have recently started having issues with mac network users not being able to log in sporadically. We are looking for possibly an apple server expert/support company to shed some light on the issues we are having. Does anyone have any good contacts/company names that may be able to offer this kind of support? Thanks for any help you can offer.
  6. @timbo343 We recently had this issue with our HP machines and WOL. You need to turn off fast startup - I know it doesn't sound like thats it but trust me it is! If it is on the network cards get turned off at shutdown. If its off the network card remains on. Search for and open “Power options” in the Start Menu. Click “Choose what the power buttons do” on the left side of the window. Click “Change settings that are currently unavailable.” Under “Shutdown settings” make sure “Turn on fast startup” is disabled. Hope that helps!
  7. One thing you can do in the upcoming 9.3 update... is block any specific apps from being launched... notes and settings appear in the list of apps you can block.
