  1. Turns out 3 cogs were broken so I did have to pretty much take the whole thing to bits!
  2. Hi Skyper - have you disassembled one of these projectors to get to the broken cogs? Am I right in thinking that I need to dismantle most of the unit before I can get to the mirror motor assembly to remove it and the cogs? Thanks!

  4. It's this little 5 tooth one. I've stuck a red arrow pointing at the location of the crack. Just about visible on the pic!
  5. Hey everyone! I've recently bought an ED-A111 with the same problem. I've opened it up and found the exact same thing - the cog is cracked. I've emailed Hitachi with the slim hope that they'll be able to provide a replacement. Ben - I'd be happy to send you the broken cog but at the moment I can't work out how to get the thing off!
