I have now downgraded the server and trying to run Exchange 2013 onto Server 2008 R2 and i am being given this error: The following error was generated when "$error.Clear(); if ( ($server -eq $null) -and ($RoleIsDatacenter -ne $true) ) { Update-RmsSharedIdentity -ServerName $RoleNetBIOSName } " was run: "Database is mandatory on UserMailbox. Property Name: Database". Any ideas? IT always happens when trying to install the transport Service, and these error codes are not much help. Thanks All

Hi all, We are currently running our exchange 2010 on Server 2008 which is on a really unstable box. We have a new server with server 2012 R2 setup on and we want to install exchange 2013 and move everything across. Hi, i have created a WMI filter with this code : select * from Win32_OperatingSystem where (Version like "6.2%" or Version like "6.3%") and ProductType = "1" i have then applied this to the group policy i want it to use if the operating system is windows 8. It doesnt seem to be working. when i logon the windows content on the start menu appears and all the policy's applied to windows 7 have applied to windows 8. Am i missing something? Hi all, Forgive me if there is already a thread on this. I am currently trying to setup a windows 8 tablet on our network. The problem is our network is all setup for windows 7 so the GPO's are not what they want to be for windows 8. For example our start menu for windows 7 is very big with department programs. When this goes onto the tablet the start menu looks ridiculous. My question is : is there a way in which i can tell GPO to use one GPO if its windows 7 or a different one if its Windows 8. Thanks Liam
