Hi, We have LanSchool installed after ditching Net Support due to its pricing, really like LanSchool but it would be great if we could see the teacher PCs in the console, @mrhcarlin did you manage to get it working, if so help would be appreciated. Cheers

Been through this a lot with our SMART UF75s recently. It is the DMD/DLP chip, we have been replacing the chip. Its a bit of a pain but at a cost of around £110 per chip (ebay) and an hours worth of your time, it still out ways the cost of a new projector (for us anyway), and if your up to it, its a bit of fun. Pic of chip shows the embedded dodgy pixels on the mirror, after the fix the projectors are like new, nice quality image and bright. Only done these a couple of weeks ago but seem to be good. Sorry about quality of pic.

Just been sent this Capita tipped to acquire Ramesys seems ramesys are going bump. Has anyone else heard anything, and what does this mean for us, we are supposed to be tuped over soon.

Hello, dont usually post, just read all your interesting stuff, been a great help over the years . But im worried . We (as a school) are going to have our IT outsourced by RAMESYS, dont know when or how. So my question is really, has anyone already been taken over and if so is it good or bad, how has things changed, do you still have a job? Any answers will be greatfully received. Hi We have 600 Classroom PC's 100 Admin PC's (offices) 150ish Staff Laptops 5 Servers 2 Nas Boxes 50ish projectors (mounted) 30 Smart boards 36 access point wireless network 6 mobile projectors we also look after PA Kits and TV System and now over 420 student laptops (bain of my life) 1800 students 200 staff (mostly moaning gits) 1 network manager, 1 (very Good) technician (me:D), and 1 assistant to start soon as crb done
