  1. Hi all, We are looking to introduce a self-service photo upload system in our College, which enables students to upload their own photo onto a system, which will then be used on their ID Card. At the moment we have to sit and take all the photos manually on set enrolment days, and it is a long process. Ideally we would like them to be able to upload the photo, show a crop box for the user to crop their image, store the image in a shared drive, and email IT Support when an image has been submitted. We would also like it to be linked with Active Directory, so students can login with their credentials, and then we know which account the photo has been submitted from. I was wondering if any of you EduGeekers out there are using any system like this currently? Ideally we would like it to be free, but any paid options will definitely be considered. Many thanks Joe
  2. Hi All, As it's that time of the year for re-imaging, we have came across an issue. We currently use a start menu redirect for students, which works fine and we are happy with. However, i want to create staff a base start menu, which they all will see. However, some staff need extra software installing, for example our finance department, and this is not on the image. When i set a start menu re direct for staff, who have extra software installed, they cannot see the extra installed software - just the base software which is in the re-direct. Is there any way i can make staff have a base start menu, as well as allow then to view installed programs? (So we don't have to end up having to add the installed shortcut to the re-direct, as this would show on all staffs PCs). Many thanks & Happy Summer! Joe
