There are a couple of reg keys that can handle this for you: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{323CA680-C24D-4099-B94D-446DD2D7249E}\ShellFolder change the Attributes value from the standard: A0900100 to: B090010D this then changes the value for everything using the explorer shell there are other ones for network/libraries etc too.
