Yeah I had this problem a few years back. Was staring at 70 laptops to build at the time, with about a week to go before the end of the summer holidays. Held things up by around a day I reckon (I had no broadband at the school at the time so I ended up going home to use the interwebs)

Sorry not sure if you saw my suggestion, about turning it off/enabling legacy On my bios there is an option in secure boot changed to other OS from Windows UEFI Is there also anything called CSM that you can enable?
-
Haven't put it to the test yet but I think RM's latest windows 10 image support UEFI boot (although upgrading might be a bit of a headache for this time on a Friday afternoon) Is there an option in the bios to turn off UEFI boot? If so do that. Turn it back on once the computer has built (if you want to)

On our system for airserver we had to tick "allow multicast flag" and appletalk. (Not even sure Appletalk is needed now for airserver)

Here's a picture installing the certificate makes no difference at all. Don't think any SSL interception going on will make a difference to this issue as I still get the problem at home, also the "new" machines on the domain (re-imaged on Friday) also don't get this issue. So I'm 100% sure the problem is on the affected machine Also worth saying it's almost any site not just Globalsign certificates

Bit of an odd one here On all of my PCs on the domain (including the server) I have the above alert appear when using IE11 for pretty much any site. Another symptom I have is remote desktop also takes ages to connect just after you enter the password. Stand alone machine aren't affected and machines that I've rebuilt also don't have the issue. If I take an affected machine home it still experiences the issue so I don't think it is anything to do with our ISP however, we've recently changed ISP and I noticed yesterday that I'd forgot to change the proxy settings in WSUS (not sure if this is relevant but if it is I'm assuming the problem might eventually fix itself?) Tried resetting caches/clearing SSL state running some MS fixes on test machines and the problem still remains. Turning off the checks in IE also doesn't work I've got to the point now where I'm happy to re-image all the clients but it would be nice to sort the problem out on the server. Open to any other ideas here Thanks

Just so people can see what is going on The 580 has gone and will be picked up tomorrow. Someone is offering to pay me for 5 or 6 of the 560 boards. Which means I am short of 2 boards at the moment. Providing they get to me before anyone else I'd have to give priority to anyone that is offering to make a contribution -

All in working order but some may be better than others. If we're nit picking the calibration goes slightly out around the edges for some of them. Have USB leads and serial leads for them as well -
I've got the followin A/V equipment here that is surplus to requirements due to a new build this summer All SMARTBoards are aound 10 years old 10 Smartboard 560 1 Smartboard 580 Pens are of varying quality 8 infocus projectors purhcased as an interim solution (2-3 years old) with ceiling mounting brackets (These projectors aren’t great but the ceiling brackets could be used with most other projectors) Inbox me if you fancy any of the kit. The only catch is that you'll have to collect from Sandwell (near Birmingham/Dudley). I'll be disposing of them within the next two weeks

It is indeed a Unifi projector which we've had since 2008. Just waiting for the new projector to get signed off.

Yeah display is fine from the PC. Can't even get any projector menus to display. You guys are confirming pretty much what I was thinking. Already disconnected the board from anything this board has a built in scratch pad that doesn't require a PC and those menus are also not displaying

It's gone to plaid. Anyone had a Smartboard do this on them know if it is an easy fix? My technical analysis is that the projector is shafted.

[acs] CMIS - Importing data into CMIS. Can it be done?
CheeseDog replied to mathsman's topic in MIS Systems
Yes it can indeed be done. Our cluster of schools used this guy to create a tool for them. Hugh Kirke The real answer of course is to get it inputed into CMIS in the first place. -
[acs] CMIS Data not refreshing on Windows 7 clients
CheeseDog replied to CheeseDog's topic in MIS Systems
No solution yet but apparently this is a known issue with finance. Looks like the work around is install XP for the time being. -
Really odd one here, any ideas people? Better explain the current scenario Windows 7 user makes a change to data (in this case bank reconciliation) and hits store. Windows 7 user closes the window where they made the changes and immediatly opens it again. Changes are not displayed even after a database refresh/system restart/turned off overnight etc. (All other Windows 7 users cannot also see the change) All Windows XP users can see the changes made (by the Windows 7 user). Really got me stumped here Serco are remoting in today to have a look at the problem but apparently we are the only school that has reported this issue.

Can anyone tell me what's worng with this filter condition? Student.Personal.Dateentry>Var('EntryDate') I have EntryDate setup as a date in variable but when I run a report with EntryDate=30/12/2010 for example I get a list of pupils who are born on the 31st of any month
