  1. HI. Thanks all, i think this is now solved. I tried the router into an unmanaged switch and then onto the firewall. This didn't make any difference. I then took the router out of the mix so had the line in plugged into the switch and then onto the firewall, and I am getting much nearer 30Mbps now. We rent our offices off someone who is supplying us this new line, and they aren't that forthcoming with information on this new line so I've been guessing at how its set-up their side. Thanks
  2. Hi FN-GM, Thanks for your input, just out of interest why would a switch in between the router and firewall make any difference?
  3. Yeah both at full duplex. Thanks.
  4. I have set both to 100M, but still have the same issue. Thanks.
  5. Hi. Thanks for the quick response. I have both set to Auto Negotiate, would you still recommend setting to both 100Mbit?
  6. Hi All. I am hoping someone can help me with an issue I am currently having. The issue is that when our router is connected to our firewall (Watchguard) I see download speeds of around 1-6 Mbps, when I connect my laptop directly to the router I get the full 30 Mbps. If I bypass our router and configure our firewall to use our suppliers router I also get 30 Mbps. I cannot get my head around why each separate (router/firewall) are fine when on their own, but when setup together we see this reduction in download speed. I realise you will require extra info, just let me know what you need to help me out. Many thanks!

    Dell PE2950 PSU

Hello. We have two Dell PE 2950s, one is left in our server rack (server a) and the other has now been removed (server b). On server a we had one faulty psu, so i removed one psu from server b and put it into server a (hot swapped). After doing this the psu light doesnt light up when plugged in to server a. As server b was in the rack and working not long ago i thought maybe one psu had gone faulty and i had not noticed/been alerted, but i removed the other psu from server b and put that into server a and that didnt work either! I have now put both the original psu's back into server b and i cannot get it to power on. The psu's have been pushed in fully as the little handle comes down and taking to top cover off i can see the connection is being made. I am wanting to get server a back up to two psu's but in the meantime for testing purpose i will be working with server b. Can anyone shed any light onto this. I hope someone can understand the problem! Thanks
  8. We sometimes have a similar issue when using HP printers, after removing any old hp programs/drivers from add/remove programs and checking the print server drivers screen and removing any drivers left over. Rebooting and reinstalling always seems to work.
  9. I haven't yet, but that is my next call I think. Thanks for the input though
  10. Hello All, I have very recently installed Sage CRM 7.2 as we are looking to migrate/upgrade to the system from a much older version of sage, and I am stuck at the first hurdle. Exchange Intergration. I believe I have taken the steps required in the setup guide, but i just cannot figure this out. When I try to add a new connection the onscreen error reads "The sync engine is checking to see if the exchange web service is available. Please wait ..." Then the red cross shows. I have attached a screenshot of this as well as the configuration page. When I browse to the URL i have entered in the web service URL field i am asked for a username and password, i enter our domain admin username and password and I see the xml. I am using these credentials to setup the exchange intergration at the moment. My manager discovered (by a simple spelling error) that entering exhange rather than exchange in to the web service URL seems to get you past this check but then fails at the next one anyway. I just dont get it at all!! The environment consists of a windows 2012 x64 server running on vmware 5.0. I have the 32bit and 64bit odbc drivers installed as this will be pointing to an oracle database. This is installed internally so no firewalls should be in the way, and I have disabled windows firewalls. No anti virus is installed on the system. I appreciate any help with this. t2i3m
