Hi Guys We are currently using Facility CMIS/EPortal hosted on our own servers. Our new Head wants to change over to SIMS as this is what he used in his last school We changed from SIMS to Facility in 1996 and have been using Facility ever since. Our Bursar is questioning whether we have to pay for licences again? They are charging us £10,280 for the following licences :- Start Up Kit1 Assessment Suite Pro Curriculum Management Suite Attendance We were with the LEA at the time but became an academy in 2012 Does any one know whether we have to pay for the licences again? Hi Everyone Just starting to use Apple Configurator with Lightspeed MDM Have set up and attached a profile for the students and also attached MDM Bulk enrollment profile from Lightspeed When I try to refrresh ipads connected to Apple Coonfigurator or supervise more ipads i get the following error message in Apple Configurator against the device "Unable to send request unlock command to device" Has anyone else had this problem ? Hi TheSmartStudent Our noodle 2.5 installation is installed to E:\moodle25\server I have down loaded phpmyadmin and unzipped it to E:\moodle25\server\apache\htdocs\phpMyAdmin i seem to have problems starting phpmyadmin when i enter EduGeek.net - Sorry page not found Am i unzipping to the right place? Hi Thanks for response All our Dc's are using Windows Server 2008 R2 Just an update I have just rebuilt a mac from the installation DVD and bound it to Active Directory with no problems. At the log on screen it says that network accounts are available I tried to log in with an exsisting ad account that had been used to log on to other macs but all I got was the shaking log on screen. I then set up a brand new AD account and logged on to the mac OK, authentication OK Regards Barry Stone

Hi Everyone We've had macs bound to our AD for the last 4/5 years and authentication from the macs have been fine,home directories mounting OK Suddenly find that users cannot authenticate to AD, just get the shaking log on screen I have unbound the mac and rebound to AD all OK. Ive checked the time against AD time,all Ok Strange thing is that if I log on the mac with the AD administrator account authentication OK and Ad administrator home directory is mounted. Hi everyone Ive written a small batch file that connects to remote computers, lists the folders in Docments and Settings folder and outputs the results to a text file. The problem is that only results from the last remote computer in the file is output to the text file. I want to have all the computers reults written to the text file. Batch file is as follows:- for /f %%i in (c:\computers.txt) do dir /ad "\\%%i\c$\Documents and Settings" > results.txt I think i need a for next loop Any help and guidance would be appreciated Regards Barry Stone

Hi Everyone Has anybody any idea on the following:- I have an iMac running 10.6.6. When I press the option key to display the available startup disks for example when a firewire drive is attached nothing happens and the machine continues to boot to Mac 10.6.6 on the HDD. The only way to change the startup disk is to log in and go to system settings. Any ideas would be appreciated Regards Barry Stone
