Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone has every had issues with users saving Custom Lists in Excel. When a student or teacher logs off, the Custom List is lost, (doesn't do it for me though). I cant seem to find where Excel stores the settings for it. thanks Jack

Hi guys, i hope this make sence i've been asked to do some labels for our canteen. im putting the items they sell in an excel sheet to do a mail merge. the typical way of Mail Merge is 1 row = 1 label... is it possible to have 1 record = 1 page of labels. i know i could just copy the correct about of records in excel but that seems terrible inefficient thanks jack

im stumped (and not sure if this has already been mentioned) we are looking at renewing out broadband package and are a little confused my some mentioned packages we're looking at 2 main companies...BT and Virgin both offer 50Mb superfast broadband (FTTP) and 100Mb Fibre Fibre is being priced at CONSIDERABLY more for the setup cost( Superfast - ~£1500...Fibre - ~£3000) could someone enlighten me to the difference if BOTH are going to the premises??? also another confusing matter...BT is charging ~£8000 setup for Fibre vs Virgin's ~£3000 setup any feedback will be appreciated

got this working now with that permission. something new i've noticed now. i've unchecked the "Force local home directory on startup disk" from the Directory Utility, to stop students from saving files locally. this works great ( i think ), but i've noticed an issue. OSX creates "Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music etc" folders in the home area, and only seems to be able to browse these folders. As this structure didn't exist prior to logging in to OSX, it seems files in the root of the home area or in any other folders cant be navigated to. when i click "All Files" i see 1 file in a folder called "Development"? but other files i know to be in the same location do not appear any ideas anyone? thanks jack
