  1. unfortunately i didn't put my solution up and running (some other problems on the work). But during my tests, i was able to put thinstation to work with the help dana_lehman..what is your ideia?
  2. Thank you. Tonight i cannot test because i don´t have access to old hardware. But tomorrow morning is the first thing to do.
  3. Thank you again for the fast reply. Well, after your post, i was able to resolve the mount usb disks, it seems ok now (tested in thinstation 2.2.2i) The chrome issue with thinstation-5.1.1, after comment out i was able to run ./build successfully. Now with this thinstation-5.1.1, i can boot my virtual machine using pxe, and rdesktop my windows server 2008, but when i try to use old hardware, I can boot using dhcp, get from my tftp the image, but then i get an error saying that is not detecting any video card. In Machine Types i find out in generic classic_generic that the following module is comment out #module via-agp I think if i uncomment this and run ./build --allmodules it will work. What do you think? Thank you again. Regards
  4. Hi dana_lehman, thank you for the reply. At the moment i dont have any solution of thin clients, but i want to use a solution like this with old hardware and without harddisk. The ideia is to boot using pxe and rdesktop to a windows server 2008. During the weekend i installed in a virtual enviroment two versions of thinstation: 2.2.2i and thinstation-5.1.1. - Virtual Machine centos 6.3 for thinstation - Virtual Machine Windows 2008 R2 for remote desktop - Virtual Machine to boot using PXE First i installed version 5.1.1 in centos 6.3 and didnt get sucess, just installed the software needed in this dev enviroment, but i didnt get thinstation to work: After the installation i did the following cd /thinstation ./setup-chroot cd /ts/5.1 ./build During this build it always ask to install Chrome, and i dont why, but this i strange, because i need just to get thinstation to rdesktop a windows server 2008. After this try, i start a new instalation of centos 6.3 with thinstation 2.2.2i and in this version thinstation works correctly. I can boot using dhcp, get from my tftp the image and i can rdesktop my windows server 2008. It seems ok, but i´m getting some issues to connect USB Mass Storage Devices in thin stations. In the build.conf the module of usb storage is ok, but i cannot get usb storage to work. Do you think the problem is with this version of rdesktop, and by the way, do you think this is the right way to install thinstation? Thank you again for your reply. Best Regards from Portugal
