About andmcq

  1. Hi, I'm still testing it. We've just started holidays here so it will be weeks before I know now. If this is the solution it really needs to be added to Papercut's KBA as the only solution I've ever been provided by PaperCut has been the logon/logoff workaround or to edit hidden client timeout settings.
  2. Thanks guys. Made the change this morning. We'll see how it goes. If it's really that simple I'll be extremely happy.
  3. Hi, Struggling to find where to set this. Is this set in the config.properties file? Thanks,
  4. Hi, Sorry if this has been asked previously. We have Papercut MF (v. 19) and our teachers have the Papercut client startup on logon. It all works perfect until the Papercut client disconnects as the teacher moves around the school and between the wireless access points. The client disconnects and sometimes never reconnects (and icon turns grey instead of green). This is becoming a major problem for staff. Our solution has been to get them to log off while moving around the school but a lot of staff don't listen and I can understand they don't want to because this can take some time to log back in. Is there a way to configure the client to not care if it's disconnected and simply upload the printing data once reconnection occurs? Thank you,
  5. Unfortunately, we just don't have access to adjust GPO settings (as ridiculous as that is). Which is why I'm having to resort to VBS or a batch file script to change Utilman.exe owner to Administrator and then use icacls to adjust the settings. I'm not that great with scripting and so far can only work out how to use takeown to change owner to Administrator.
  6. Hi, Sorry if this has been asked a million times before. Looking into way to prevent students from opening the Ease Of Access controls at Windows 10 logon. I've been able to follow a guide to deny Everyone access to the Utilman.exe but am wondering if there is a script out there to do this as at the moment I'll be stuck manually doing this on each machine. Thanks,
