  1. Hmm, I tried editing my hapconfig.xml cause I was still getting errors, it seems adding height="1" width="1" to a lot of the homepage items fixes it up, a bit. Still wasn't working so I'm just going to stick with 8.7 for a while.
  2. I recently upgraded to v9 and am now receiving this error: [h=1]Server Error in '/hap' Application.[/h] [h=2]Object reference not set to an instance of an object.[/h] Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. 3. All seems to be good. I was able to change icons a couple months ago but now when I try this happens, really weird.
  4. Hey there, I tried placing custom icons in my HAP install and it gives me a weird server error everytime I try it, even with the icons you've provided. Here is a screencast of the error and process: Screenr - britzj: HAP Errors Thanks for the help!
  5. Is there any way to keep the caches on the server (for like a week or month)? Or give the ad cache higher priority?
  6. Hey there, I have noticed there is quite a lag in logging on HAP+. I have tried it in-house so there shouldn't be any latency issues. Here is a screencast of the log-on time. Once the user logs in, logs back out, then logs back in, the log in time is greatly reduced. Any ideas on how to make the log-in process a bit quicker? NOTE: The error that pops up at the end is not related, it is to do with mapped drives. It takes the same amount of time to log-on regardless of this error. Screenr - britzj2: Slow log on time with Home Access Plus+ Thanks!
  7. Hey there, I noticed a slight error on your codeplex site: http://i.imgur.com/HbAYY.jpg It kind of confused me, I think it should say HAP+ 8.x -> 8.7 Update rather than HAP+ 7.x -> 7.7 Update
  8. You could also remove the me tab. In hap\app_data\hapconfig.xml Remove the lines:
  9. Hey there, I was switching some stuff around in my HAP config, and wanted to combine the resources and remote apps tab. Everything is working except for the fact that HAP removes the spaces in "Resources and Remote Apps", the title of my group. As you can see here in the screenshot above. When I access the My Files portion of the website, in the drop down menu "Resources and Remote Apps" is display as: "ResourcesandremoteApps". I thought I could fix this by adding non-breaking spaces, and it half worked. As you can see from the above screenshot this fixes my spacing issue. However, it messes up the link on the front navigation and the anchors no longer work. Thanks for looking! P.S. I am using the newest version: v8.5
  10. Hey there, First of all, thanks for developing this awesome software. Have it installed on my Windows 2008 server and after working out some issues I almost got it working 100%. A couple questions about the help desk system: - Is it possible to have a tile only available to non-admin users : New Ticket. I don't want regular staff and students to be able to see the tickets, only create new ones. - Also, is there any way to set the help desk to work with SQL? I noticed the new entries were being placed in an xml file. - Is there any way to delete help desk tickets? - Is there any way to disable drive space indicators completely? Our users do not have their own quota, it's all based on one giant datastore so every folder is displaying the same percentage available. - Also I have noticed it is quite slow, in a couple other posts you mentioned because the drives in "My Files" were set to the Quota setting, I switched this and am still seeing the same slow speeds. Thanks for the help!!
