I gonna be following this next week but if I get stuck I will contact Sims the school do actually pay for support so they should not need to charge any extra. See what happens..... Hey cookie_monster I would love that text file, I phoned sims helpdesk for a doc that explains how to do it but they say they don't know where it is, ??????? it's a doc file that explains their job? I think they scared of losing money! and have stopped helping others install sims .net themselves. Also guys you are right sims and straightforward don't go. hehe

Hi don't mean to sound stupid! I want to install sims .net and FMS on our newly bought school server, due to the fact the old server is well ...... OLD. How would I go about setting it up, am I right to thinking that I can just copy the whole F: Drive (which is where Sims is Installed) to the F: Drive on the new Server. I am saying this as I can't get hold of a CD from Capita (TIGHT). I'm (TIGHT) too as I don't want to pay for MIS to come out @ £40ph. If someone could explain please, in brief steps how to install, this would be most appreciated. I looked through the Forum but couldn't find any help. Cheers ALL!
