I re enabled ac adaptor warning, and...got a warning on boot "AC adaptor can not be determined. Battery may not charge". I guess I need an official Dell charger!

I will check this in the bios thanks it does have that option using the function keys but doesn't seem to work, might be a Dell driver to make it work? Thanks for the fast reply.

I recently bought a Dell Vostro 3500, but when the PSU is plugged in it just says "plugged in, not charging". I bought a new battery for it and the problem remains. I also tried to reinstall windows but no luck there either. I have noticed that the PSU is third party and not an original Del charger, i'm not sure that would make a difference? I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help Great looking website here too!
