  1. Hi Steve! ADFS integration only landed in the last release, a few weeks ago and is still in beta - we're working with some schools to ensure it functions as expected at the moment! If you're keen, drop me a mail and I can put you in touch with the delivery team who are managing the beta to find out a bit more? Let me know if I can help further All the best, James Shackley Head of Services Frogtrade ltd.
  2. Sure thing! I'll get the behaviour checked and get back to you! Just to confirm, are you referring to the diary brick (the blocky looking one) or the booking calendar? Can you drop me a quick PM with your school details and I'll get a Service Desk ticket created to track it? Thanks a lot! James Shackley Head of Services - Frogtrade ltd
  3. Hi MrWu, Glad to hear this was resolved. Please take my details if you're ever stuck in the future - I'll always do my best to help if I can? I've added this to our knowledgebase as it's something worth sharing: https://kb.frogtrade.com/index.php/SIMS:_Troubleshooting_SIMS_Import_Issues Many thanks! 4. Hi Jim! Apologies for the delay in a reply to this post, I had somewhat of a family emergency that meant I was away unexpectedly - however I'm back now and wanted to drop a reply to you. In terms of the support for VM, hopefully this gives a little clarity over the current situation: We are currently working on projects to be able to offer visualization of FrogOS to customers. Please be aware that this is for FrogOS only and that we are yet to be in a position to commit to customers running Frog 3.0 being able to continue with Frog 3.0 running on the physical server and FrogOS on a VM. The VM environments we support are limited to VMWare - FrogOS is currently supported on VMWare ESXi 4.1 U3 and later. Work is being conducted to ratify installation and support on the latest version of Microsoft's Hyper-V platform. Regression and performance testing is scheduled to start later this year, with a target for beta delivery after September 2013. While you stay on your current hardware, there's no additional costs for taking FrogOS and it's entirely optional, the new license fee covering your managed service is the £2,500 + £2 per pupil (with upper and lower caps) - so nothing changes there from what I've mentioned in the past. Should VM become a possibility and be desirable to you, if work is required at our end to make this happen then it is likely there would be a charge for this. However, as you can see from the above we are too early in the process to have this nailed down yet - the thing I'd like to make clear is that a move away from your current hardware (especially now you've upgraded the RAM) will not be forced on you, this would be entirely your choice if you felt the benefits (and indeed any cost) were acceptable. Thanks a lot - I'm always more than happy to discuss further and can always put you in touch directly with the guys that are looking at VM here if you wanted a little more info regarding the nuts and bolts. All the best, James Shackley Head of Services - Frogtrade Ltd
  5. Hi! This is indeed a bug at the moment, or at least undesired behaviour. We are aware of this and the developers are scheduled to pick this up and investigate further in the next release (not the one rolling out to schools this month but the one after and pending successful testing we will roll out a fix). This is on the list of known limitations of the AD SSO implementation which is available from the Frog3 Knowledge base. As soon as we have further information we will update you through the ticket with the service desk. If you want to discuss this further or if I can help in any other way, just let me know - I'm out on the road this week, hence the late reply, but I'll always do my best to help. Thanks a lot, James Shackley Service Desk Manager
  6. Hi folks, I've just poked my nose into this thread to mention that we're currently working on fixes for a couple of issues with AD SSO at the moment. Despite having completed a successful beta programme with a number of schools, issues have been identified with AD SSO, post-release. Our teams have looked into these issues and we are confident that we have identified the root cause of the issue and working towards a fix. In the meantime, it is our advice that if you are experiencing issues with AD SSO, or issues that you believe have only started since your implementation of AD SSO, that you cease using it and resort to the normal method of logging in. Thanks, James Shackley Support Manager
