  1. Hey Guys. I'm trying to get a 5500G working with vlan's and multicast routing. I have 5 vlans (100-104); vlan 100/101 are for my servers, 102-104 are for network cameras. i need the multicast stream from the cameras on both serve vlans. i have enabled igmp snooping on the 3 camera vlans, enabled multicast routing and enabled pim dm on the both server vlans. Is this configuration correct?? I'm not very familiar with multicast, just started working now with this Regards Philipp

  3. Good Morning. My Client is at the moment in my vlan 100. Gateway of course is the Switch's ip Adress from the GW: 10.10.100.254 The Firewall has the 10.10.99.254 and the Switch has 10.10.99.1 in the 99er VLAN. I thought, when i give the switch the Ip default gateway (10.10.99.254) that he builds automatically the 0.0.0.0 route. On show running-config the route is present, but not in show ip route I also rebooted the switch, but only a warm reboot, will try a cold one. I'm thinking about to reset the Switch to factory, it's not productive at the moment Cheers Philipp
  4. HI Dave. Thanks for your reply. I tried it, but it still doesn't accept a default route -.-
  5. HI I'm trying to add a static route on a hp 5406 Core Switch as default route to my firewall, to give the Vlan's Access to the internet. I tried it with "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.99.254", i don't get a error message but when i show my routes, the 0.0.0.0 route isn't present.
