Yes. Passive FTP does nothing. I've checked the Firewall button options, and the Use Secure FTP Settings. None of the options affect the connectivity. It's quite bizarre.

I have 3 school sites I maintain with Dreamweaver 8. Two give me no problem but one site keeps failing to find the target, showing an FTP error ('remote host cannot be found'). I put exactly the same details into FreeFTP, a cheap (FREE) and cheerful up and downloader and bingo! I'm connected. Is there anyone out there who can suggest a solution? FreeFTP is a but tedious compared with Dreamweaver, and I want this problem sorted.
