I did this morning and we got it sorted. Basically the pc I was using was set up to use Us format dates, but the sims exam system was set up to use UK format dates. System got totally confused! I reset the pc to use UK dates, rebooted and it all worked! (Just in case anyone else gets the same issue...)

Sorry - I am new to SIMS, having taken it over from someone who suddenly had to leave. All the exam data and candidate data has been set up - I am just doing the seating plans. I have done a month succesfully, then suddenly I am getting the above error every time I try and save a group of candidates to a setting. I have tried for various exams/rooms/dates - I can select the exam, allocate a room, select candidates (all of whom show no clashes/ no special needs etc) but then when I try and save the candidates I have selected I am getting the above error. Can anyone shed any light on what might be causing it please? Many thanks
