Oh and don't forget to turn off the security filter option in the HP MSM430 interface. IF you don't , you'll simply be authenticated with radius but no internet access will be available..

I think I got it to work now. Changed from MSChapV2 to PAP the Procurve 420's never had this setting...

Hi, I wondered if anybody else has managed to get a radius working with Server 2003 IAS and the HP-E-MSM430 device? I have plenty of HP 420's dotted around the school, they are working fine... but I got one of these new expensive Wireless N devices (HP-E-MSM430) And Radius just keeps saying it was rejected. I have checked the secret phrase a thousand times... I have set up a record on the IAS radius clients and entered the same secret phrase.. When I first got the thing I had managed to get it to work.. fluke... but now it just refuses... just says Radius Request Rejected by the server. I'm a bit unsure what options in the Radius Authentication on the HP (MSM430) to use.. I have it set to MSChapV2? That was what it was set to before. I have tried restarting the devices.. and restarting IAS.. still nothing. has anybody out there managed to get this to work?
