Anyone have a rough estimate of how many HAP+ user can be on simultaneously? I'm running my server as an ESXi VM with 2 processors, 1 Nic, and 6GB ram assigned. What would be a reasonable number of clients I could support?

Thanks jamesfed - your idea worked, I just needed to use my wildcard cert instead of a self signed one. Up and running again!

That was my first idea/attempt, however it just throws a 500 error at me. It will work fine on the actual HAP+ server, but outside boxes fail. I'm guessing it may have something to do with my self-signed cert always showing as an error when I go to the page.

I'm very new to IIS (7.5) and have a small problem I'm hoping someone can walk me through. I have HAP+ setup on a 2008-R2 server, and so far everything is working well; however I cannot find a way to allow a regular http landing page that forwards to the https HAP+ site. If I have SSL enabled on the site, any attempts to go to "http://myfiles.mysite.org" fail with a 403 forbidden error, or with a 500 error if I disable ssl. I'd like to be able to have the staff just plug myfiles.mysite.org into their browser, and then have the default IIS webpage automatically redirect them to "https://myfiles.mysite.org/hap" - anyone have a solution I can try?

I'm just setting up HAP+ for the first time, and have finally got a working test environment; so I started poking around in the files a bit and noticed there is a My Homework feature, but no instructions on it's usage. Is there a manual anywhere for this program? I can find install documents and videos, but nothing really comprehensive for configuring the system. Does a detailed manual exist for HAP+? Would anyone mind sharing a link to it?

Problem solved, I needed to clear my cache. Every time I was trying to log in it was appending ?ReturnUrl=%2fhap%2fsetup.aspx to the url and dumping me back at the log inn screen. I was logged in, it just looked like I wasn't because the log in page came back instead of an error page.

When I put in the text that the setup page shows, no one can log in after that. I did a direct cut and paste, everyone gets locked out of the whole system. When I restore to the original version (not locked down) it allows log ins again.
