We went from google to live@edu as well. Microsoft's products makes it easier and much more compatible when collaborating externally. We used a third party product called migrationwiz for our migration. We used calendars and contacts a LOT. they automatically migrated them. Other free tools needed too much time to learn and finesse

Looks like you used IMAP built-in tools. How did you migrate your calendar and contacts? Can't afford to lose them!
