Hello Again Right, may have promised something to the higher ups that i dont think i can deliver on but we have a template set up to show data from, ie, the maths department, made up of Marksheets of each individual class within that department. So it returns roughly seven marksheets with the data required, but i want to rename the marksheets to include the teachers name on them, if not rename the marksheets at least be able to type into the greyed out comments box Thanks All

Although this isn't a matter of life and death we feel that it would be a nice touch for Registration Tutors to be able to see who is their class is celebrating a birthday soon, would there be anyway of notifying Reg Tutors of who is having a birthday is the forth coming week when they log on? Not sure how we would start to approach it, a report of some sort? Thanks for any help

Thanks I had a look at that and found they where their own contact (their own father in some cases) but deleting those hasn't seem to have worked

Hello One and All I lovely little feature of SIMs that has just been brought to my attention is some students in certain areas (ie new academic set ups for the next school year) a student will be called MR or MRS alongside students who are just featuring forename / surname as they should be Any ideas where i can delete this unpleasent addition to our student data Thanks all Teaboy!

I mustn't be the only person having this issue:mad: for some reason, unknown to myself, or our software support providor, students who are in no way related, are being linked together in the sibiling / family link They have have something similar as Surname, or parents name, but are in no way related and not only is SIMS decided they are infact related, its also making it impossible to break this link. Nice easy query for a friday! Thanks for your help everyone

Hello Ah that lovely time of the year is open us, christmas songs are playing as various companies hold music, the whole epsoide of standing alone at the christmas party is just around the corner. And once the fun of Mince Pies, Dry Turkey and horribly kitsch oversized jumper from our nans has worn off we get back to work and to what THE CENUS! as our first Census in SIMS we are finding it very difficult here at the moment, we have the capita documentation and the first of the dry runs are about to be attempted. However i was hoping if anyone can shed some light on how to proceeded with the first cenus run in SIMS. All Answers apprecaited chaps

Hi Thanks for that, very much in detail and very much apprecaited I am trying to work though it at the moment but when the word document is being opened SIMS will simply become a white screen and stay that way, requiring a restart Is this something im doing wrong, or a system / sims problem? Hello, Wow so happy i found this site! Right i have a problem and was wondering if anyone could help me? We have built a student attainment system called rising stars. Using a large amount of marksheets feeding into aspects then feeding back into templates we can monitor how a student is doing, however to send letters back home to parents we need to create some form of Mail Merge, from the templates, to a MS Word Document. 8O Any light anyone could shine on this would be greatly apprecaited.
