Hi, been a while since I was here but got asked to source some new devices. Got an email with link - Public Sector | OKI UK | Printers & Managed Print Services and wanted to know what you/ others think about these devices. Seems good offer to?

Hi we don't run SIMS but from SAP do print off purchase orders. We just use multi purpose tray with selected stationary. Maybe an idea if volumes are low!

Good to see others also seem to have a positive experience. I in fact have an old C5350dn at home. It sits in my summer house - not insulated at all and used mainly on weekends to print coursework etc. Never ever had an issue other than in very cold weather the paper becomes tricky to handle. This is down top the paper rather than the printer itself. I use it at home with my macbook and driver install was perfect. Must add that the support element of OKI seems to be really first class. I have heard of and read several posts confirming this.

Hi Liam I have read with interest the posts. I can add a positive here. I think but stand under correction that some of the managed service issues listed may have been as a result of the incorrect devices. I have knowledge which suggests that OKI Executive Series products are better suited to the managed environment. Your supplier may be recommending this solution above the stand C series products. The ES as they are commonly known have different toners with higher capacities and yields resulting in a lower cost per copy. Maybe get them to clarify for you. I can only say that from my experience ES is the answer 0 good running costs, low downtime. Have you asked for case studies or customer referrals?
