Hi, You don't actually need to download any software to do this. Perhaps have a look at the animations at the LoxiaStudio website. Everything is done on-line, once you have created your animations simply copy and paste the line of code that is generated into your site. You could try a few different animations in either Flash of jQuery then see which one you prefer. You can make them as fancy or a basic as you'd like.
