  1. Interesting thank you guys. Some of the people who I’ve spoken to didn’t recommend Cunninghams to me as they said the support was terrible and it was pricey as everything came at a cost. I spoke to Iris about their Biostore, they’re trying to sell me their cloud version which is very cheap in comparison to others. Their sales seem very decent. Just worried about their support now after the feedback from you guys.
  2. Thank you so much. How does Vericool work? Is it cloud based? Are you able to use your own devices or do they provide the POS?
  3. Hi everyone, Hope you’re well. We are currently with Civica on-prem for cashless catering. I would like to move away from them because their support is non-existent. What are your thoughts on Iris, we do use their Parentmail for top up. Or, we may consider Vericool or Live Register. We are using biometrics (fingerprint). However, the scanners are slow and work intermittently. We are looking to move away from this and issue every student with an ID card with QR printed on them. Any input on this would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Noohad
  4. Using SIMS here. We don’t use intouch. We use parentmail.
  5. Thank you for the info. I’ve contacted them many times via chat, phone calls and even have a support case open. Their level of support is shocking. They won’t even pass you onto senior support. You’re always stuck with first line agents. Let me know if you have any luck with this and I’ll do the same too. Thanks
  6. Supra21, Did you manage to resolve this as I’m having experiencing exactly the same issue. Any inputs please? Many thanks, Noohad
  7. I've done hardware raid and is so much better and I've got knowledge of that. I'm too confused about sw raid on server 2003. As it's a primary domain controller I don't really fancy messing around. Rather follow procedures from someone who knows more about it than me.
  8. There's no proper raid as such as the mirror is done via disk management of windows server 2003.
  9. Just to add to that - at the moment I've booted off Secondary Plex and its a little better.
  10. The server is operating like a snail. I had a look in event viewer and it said something along the lines harddisk0 will fail and to back up data and replace.
  11. Hi guys, I need your expertise please. Running Windows Server 2003 Standard on a Dell Tower Sever. Disk 0 and Disk 1 are mirrored using Windows Mirroring. Primary drive disk 0 seems to be causing problems and I need to replace it asap (although it's showing as being online and healthy). Both the drives are 1tb each. How would I go about replacing Disk 0 please? I unplugged disk 0 and tried to boot off secondary plex in the boot menu but got an error message about system files being missing. I freaked out and plugged it all back in how it was. I've got new 2tb drives in stock and just needed some pointers please. Many thanks
  12. That's great. Thank you ever so much. I'll see what the data staff have been adding onto it. Could well be the photographs. Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you.
  13. VM or physical shouldn't matter? Not really sure what else I can try. I followed the same document from 4matrix. Thanks anyway mate.
  14. When a client logs onto 4matrix, even loading the dashboard is very slow. It could well be the way I've installed this. I've got this running on a dedicated server running Win 2012 R2. Went ahead with all the default settings. On client machines I've installed the software as opposed to running off a shared area. Any tips? - - - Updated - - - Fiza - people can log in fine and use it - it's just very slow. Not sure if there are any tweaks I need to do. Thanks
  15. Hi guys, Anyone out these using 4Matrix? If so, do you find that it's quite slow processing any data? Many thanks Noohad
  16. 3s - you're a genius! Thank you so much.
  17. Hi, I need help restoring just FMS database. We have 2 FMS databases. One is an old back predated to 2012 which is no longer used. Whenever we log onto FMS, it's bringing up data from 2012 as if it's like reading off the old database even though it's selecting the right company and database now. Any idea's on how to sort this problem out please? I've got a backup from last night which I can go back to but I've never done a restore. Last thing I want to do is mess up SIMS as well because SIMS itself is working fine. Just FMS that's showing old data. Many thanks! N
  18. Using Win7. In registry under profile lists Administrator does exist.
  19. You see it's quite baffling... Access to C drive is denied as well as being completely hidden. USB Drives are disabled. In safe mode they cannot login. If the students did have access, they would have deleted random files but every time it's the same... All the users folders are deleted except for public. And the two folders that remain in program data are adobe and Microsoft. Thank you :-)
  20. Hi Guys, I got a bit of a weird problem here with my domain computers... They are randomly deleting all the profiles stored in c:\users (including Administrator and Default). As a result of this, any user who logs in is created with a temporary profile. Not only that but pretty much everything in Program Data is being deleted too. I cannot work out what could be causing this. Any help or ideas would be appreciated very very much. Thank you so much :-)
  21. Good luck. I waited 2 weeks and still waiting!!
  22. Craig, I'm sure you've probably done it already but if not, try restarting that exam centre service. Best of luck!
  23. We're not using a proxy so that's ok. We've disabled the firewall too....no luck! Pearson are useless as well
  24. Guys, Can anyone help me please? I cannot download their package - I get the following error: "Cannot retrieve package stream" I've checked the event log and the following is displayed as an error: System.ServiceModel.EndpointNotFoundException: There was no endpoint listening at https://btecng.pearson.com/btecng/TDPService/FileService.svc that could accept the message.
