I tried wat u sed, but i get a message saying: 'CREATE VIEW' must be the first statement in a query batch. What does this mean?

Using Office 2003....in outlook, when u create a new email message and in the to..field if u type the first letters of a contact it will display those contacts matchin - - - for example if i have the contact [email protected] and i type 'jo' in the to field it will come up with johns email address. however if i dont have [email protected] in my contact list, but i have sent an email to him in the past...outlook stil remembers his email address because wen i type 'jo' it will display it. Does anyone know where the file is that remembers email addresses is located on the computer? I ask this because i can make an email address file by exporting from contacts to excel for instance, but becuase i dont have some addresses saved in contacts i want to know how i can get a contact list from non saved people... Any help much appreciated.

Hi Peeps, Im working on creating ID cards for the sixth form college i work for. I have a table holding the student data and a table with staff data. I have created a view for the student table and wish to do so for the staff one, then once i have the 2 views i can create a generic view which the id card will use for populating its data, (name, photo, barcode...etc), but one thing has entered my mind - if the field names for staff and students are different how can i create a generic view. example: studentID and teacherCode are unique for the person, but i want to make a view that will put both these in a field called MemberID for instance... im not very clued up with SQL 2005 so any help is much appreciated.

It doesnt work... It does toggle the link, so [ALT +F9], does kinda work and you can switch between the views. but wen u print it still prints out the {HPERLINK "http://www.google.com"} so is there a way to toggle it permanatly, there must be cos all the other computers dont do this, so im wondering if its been enabled somehow.

Hey people, wonder if anyone knows how i can solve this... Wen im in word and i type a web site for example http://www.google.com and press enter, it underlines the text and creates a hyperlink, which is all good. However on the machine in question wen i type the web address and hit enter then i go to look at the print preview or even print out the document, it displays something like this: [HYPERLINK:http//:http://www.google.com] I only want it to display like...http://www.google.com Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Thanks ashes87. Disease you need to realise that without immigrants, just how localzuk sed, there would be many problems. I dont really know your attitude on immigration, but i think if wat you have already sed is anything to go by, then u wont last very long. Immigrants aint goin to go away, y cos we need them and they help the economy massively. Doctors, Nurses, Builders, and many other skilled jobs are occupied by a good percentage of immigrants...if disease had his way, we wud b up shit creek without toilet paper!

Wats this "get rid of immigrants"? Think you will find that most people in this country are decendants from immigrants of some kind. Yes, even white people. When the romans ruled and settled in uk for a while they were suprise, suprise immigrants. Im sick to death of people seeing a non-white and thinking he or she is an immigrant and is putting a strain on the econmy. What about all the jobless, slobs that are claiming benefits for themselves and their 9 kids? Think that is a bit of a strain dont you?

It sounds like it might be missing some of the modules. Try reinstalling the version of bluej or even check that u got the latest version of java. Saying that i know that some of the old java coding will not compile in newer versions due to the new structure...i believe aliv25 u are aware of stuff like this like the collection creation (the angle brackets with the data type in) Hope that is some help...
