Hi All, I have an issue streaming media from http://www.screenonline.org.uk We are registered and have spoken to their support but no luck. We are trying to access clips from http://www.screenonline.org.uk for media students. We are using media player 11. We ARE registered with them correctly but when we click on a link it says "windows media player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the open url dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http" or "rtsp")." I have tried microsofts knowledge base and attempted to reregister wmnetmgr.dll as described but it does not help. I have checked all settings in "network" in media player even trying to explicitly add our proxy server but this does not work either. I believe this may be something outside of media player as VLC fails also. Any ideas would be most appreciated.. Thanks

Hi, I'm wanting to create a new package to distribute via Ranger. Have bene through the whole create package process and can see the package sitting in \\\packages. Permissions appear the same as other packages. Ranger can see all other packages sitting in there EXCEPT this new one...? Refreshing the list from within lan manager/pakages does not show it. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Thanks for your help mr Happy. It was just one flash entry in the registry that would not uninstall (even with the adobe flash uninstaller program) and for whatever reason stopped a new install from running correctly. Once removed manually - it all worked fine.

Hi, Have installed Board Works onto a laptop running xp & powerpoint 2003. Flash is installed. Whenever I run an option from one of the menus it attempts to open powerpoint and I get "Some controls on this presentation cant be activated. They might not be registered on this computer". I've had a browse around the web and suspect a problem with activex, I've changed local policy to let activex run for processes but obviously this is not the problem as it changed nothing. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
