Yeap.... MX records to Office 365 (they give you one for your domain) and then using smart hosts (which they call connectors) sends on too internal. Own server can also send out via o365 to also do virus scanning etc. We then closed firewall ports to internal mail server from all other servers. If you have o365 its a great solution

We have recently done similar and found that if you have Office 365 you can use exchange online protection in the cloud and have it send all checked email to your onsite server. Cost us nothing, and about ten minutes work. Does AV checking too on incoming mail.

We have been testing Windows 8 out really looking at the Metro interface. We have apps for iphone, blackberry, android and windows mobile all under the brandname 'MyHighcliffe' which allow students to access their homework etc from their phone. We obviously had to start to look at Metro and play at getting an App written. Have to say - impressed with the interface and how quick development can be. I dont think this is the same as the libraries issue on the stickies thread. In the end for months everything was fine and then suddently for new users Folder and Start menu redirection just broke. I noticed one machine was OK and on closer inspection it hadnt installed its updates from WSUS. As soon as this update was installed it broke - so my conclusion was it was caused by the update. Removing the update didnt fix BUT removing these registry keys has solved it. One thing to remember from my experience is that it was all OK for existing users BUT for any new users with no initial profile it didnt redirect. May be worth checking a new user if you have installed this update just to check all is ok. mbrunt - be good if you could confirm if this fix does work for you as I expect a few others may experience this. Think you may like me! Had exactly the same and only noticed it last Monday. Was only effecting new user profiles at mine. Luckily managed to track it don to this update as well. After a great deal of messing around I found that even thou we have libraries disabled (expect you may have too) there are some folders reg keys left in the registry. If these keys are removed everything returns to normal.
