    We have also had problems with some of the Lenovo laptops such as track pad, a few with Wi-Fi cards. Recently purchased a few HP G6 laptops they have been excellent.

    I had that same error but changed permissions in AD and all works fine now. Have you managed to sort your error out?

    I used to have that problem on 1607 but since updating clients to 1709 it seems to have corrected.

    I have upgraded 4 server so far to 2012 R2 with no real issues apart from an MDT server where I had to reinstall MDT to a newer version.
