We do have our own custom room booking system, but part of the problem is that the Timetable Manager keeps changing all of the timetables and not telling me. As it stands we have to keep adding bookings manually (.ie. populate the timetables per day per period) Thanks Stuart

Hi We are looking for a way of exporting room timetables into our booking system i.e. MYSQL reads MSSQL, so that the booking information is correct. Or does anyone know of a booking system, thats free, and can be incoporated into SIMS?? HELP!!! Stuart

Hi, Is there anyway to automatically setup a users email account. Server - Exchange 2007 MS Outlook 2003/2007 So that when a user logs onto the computer and there email is for some reason not setup it will auto set it up so we dont have to get attached by new users. Cheers

Hi, It has taken too long for this order and with it not being complete we just want to send the whole order back and forget it. and we will just buy new laptops as the laptops were a bit old. Can we get our money back even though its out of the 30Day thing and the order wasnt complete. Thanks

Hi, They can only send us 9/36 the batteries for the laptops and that doesnt really help us. The batteries are discontinued. Thanks Stuart

Well, We placed the order end of october (for Laptop batteries & RAM) we recieved all of the RAM and a few batteries around november, and they invoiced us for what we recieved and they payed for it. But then 60days-ish later they told us that they cannot fulfil the rest of the order. Hope this make sense - Stuart

Hi, We have placed an order but the company cannot fulfil the order they have only sent us half of the order, and the other half they can't be supplied because its discontinued. Where do we stand with returns? We want to return the whole order back but its over 30Days? Please Help ASAP Stuart

Hi, This is generally when the drive on the server where the users work / settings/ profiles are stored doesnt have enough space i.e. if you are on an RM Network you would make sure that the D: drive (or H: if its 2003) and make sure there is plenty of space. This solved the problem for me. Cheers - Stuart

How have you guys deployed this? We have had to manually install it (we are on CC3 ) couldnt get the MSI to work. Spoke to Edexcel and they said use the MSI and it will work, spoke to RM and they don't deal with third party applications, or not the ones we ask them about. Thanks - Stuart

Thanks for the reply Domino. Im quite happy to use the remote installed or mannually install, its the other school who wants the package. The problem with the MSI is that it needs information i.e. server IP, port ... Thats why i'm getting stuck it just doesnt roll out. Thanks - Stuart

Hi, Not too sure where this goes here, here goes anyway. We have a program called Browse Control (By Codeworks) and its great. The only problem is we have merged with another school and they dont want to manually install it like we have done for ages as we only have about 300 machines to install it on. (and with the Ipod on its quite a dordle). Has anyone managed to create an MSI for it for an RM CC3 Network, mine just fail. Any Ideas, Stuart

I remember the first package I had to make, Macromedia Studio MX, and the pillock that I am was well chuffed that it worked. I was was wrong. made the package pushed it to our test pc's and oops ... forgot to add the Serial number to the process and had to start again, im sure that CS4 will go smother (fingers crossed).

We just purchased adobe cs4 premium, and are deciding how on earth we can roll it out, but I think a brew will have the answer, or if not i'll right the other site/team.

I honestly think they dont understand the word 'maintainance'. I had 1 member of staff phone in but it was sorted over the phone. last holidays I told everyone I was taking the servers offline for a few days and they honeslty come to me complaining that they couldn't get on the shared area 'ITS OFFLINE!!!' Drives me mad when they have catch-up sessions over the holidays. If they didnt let the students play games maybe they wouldn't need to catch-up. Sorry im just having my winge for the week. - Stu
