Thanks for the reply SYNACK, Its one of our stand alone laptops. Ran a virus scan, cleaned the laptop us (TEMP, History ...) And still nothing. I am trying to add explorer.exe to the startup in the registry. Thanks - Stuart

Hi, When I logon to my laptop it loads up explorer.exe (the windows explorer) rather than the explorer that brings up the desktop. It happens to all users on the laptop. Check within MSCONFIG to see if anything is there and nothing. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks - Stuart

Have a page (called button_config) with all the button details (like below) Btn_Login() Var Image = "/image/button/Login.jpg" Var RollOverTxt = "Login" Btn_Logout() Var Image = "/image/button/Logout.jpg" Var RollOverTxt = "Logout" And then on the toolbar page / div have them populated as and when needed i.e. on the main page it would show the login button, as set on the 'main' page until the next page is loaded with the toolbar config. Hi Guys, Unfortunately we have the joys of an RM CC3 System. And I must admit I do like the RM Management Console for it usabiloty for teachers. What I want to do is have a web based program, when when it opens and the user selects a link it will bring up a progress bar and load the content. I have been trying for a while now to do this with ajax and have had no luck. Anybody got any ideas, or working example I could look at and try to make sence of it. Thanks

Hi Guys, Sorry the title isn't clear. We are running a cc3 system, and the ou to where the staff reside has blocked inheritence of properties, but has a GPO applied to the internet. The problem we have is the "local settings folder" is huge!!!. looking at some the range from 50MB to 75MB, and this is killing our LES100 Link. What we need to know is how to have the local settings folder (C:\Documents & Settings\{USER}\Local settings) located else where or if anyone know a solution. This would be a life save. I Agree! Personally I would never Block Inheritance. I would look at the issue and see what doesn't work, but its not my system. I just need to apply a policy to the OU where it is blocked to and appliy the policy on a dummy OU and test what happens and take it from there. Any Ideas? - Stuart

Hi, We have had to block inheritance of properties in order for our software to run, according to the LEA this was the only way. This causes so many problems! My Question is how can I apply a group policy to a container when Block Inheritance has been checked? THanks - Stuart

BTW - If if type \\Exchangesr1\ I dont see storage groups, is that correct?

Hi, all of the data is stored into different databases. If we run the command in powerhell like: \\server\database will it find it? My command would look similar to this: Get-Mailbox -database "F:\ExchangeSrv1\Storage Group\Staff.[extension]" | set-mailbox -recipientlimits 1 would my command work?? Hey, Worst piece of software on a 'unique network' (RM) Would like to know if anyone had got it sorted on their system, got 17 ICT Suite and 200 Photography students needing access to this in a couple of weeks (Think its more the teachers than students). Tried various deployment methods from installing as an RM Package (Through the Application Wizard) and, using the Adobe deployment tool and still it doesnt work. When I logon to admin it works, after tring to install it again (MSIEXEC) but as a student it just keeps the MSIEXEC running and then failes. Any ideas would be great. Thanks - Stuart

Hi Guys, I am writing the policy for the 'Student UserType' The problem I am having is that My Computer has disappeared from the start menu. I have removed the policy and logged back on and it isn't back... Grrr!. Our current system is a custom made in-house application writen in php using a mysql database. If we have to change what we use, if we find a solution, i guess we can. I use Nova-T6 to view timetables, have tried to export to csv, but this means writing a php csv import script and we dont have time (besides the data doesnt export the way i wnted it to) Thanks Stuart
