About Mattycw

  1. I'll have to double check to see what drives are being mapped on logon, what's even more annoying is that no errors are logged in event viewer so i can't even refer back to that!
  2. Have you ensured internet explorer is set as the default browser?
  3. If anyone can help me out on this it would be very much appreciated! I've recently been tasked with setting up four new laptops all running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Initial logon is absolutely fine, but any further attempts to login you are presented with a black screen with the mouse cursor visible. The strange thing is you can logon ok in safe mode with networking support or with the network cable unplugged, but any other attempts to login normally it just doesn't work. Users have roaming profiles as well as having their desktops redirected. The only other thing I can think of that may be causing it is active desktop but I'm not 100% sure on that as their group policy is a gigantic mess which was inherited. Many thanks in advance!
