  2. its not for ccna, i did this earlier this year, i dont wanna use a calculator as i wont be allowed a calc in the main exam where i am getting confused is how to work out the network address and subnet address, i do not know which to convert i have the host address and i know this needs to be converted to binary and added to either the supernet or the subnet mask but not sure, below is an example i have done 10100100 00001110 01010011 00010011 (host_address) 11111111 11111111 00000000 00000000 (supernet) --------------------------------------- 10100100 00001110 00000000 00000000 = network address or subnet mask? i'm not sure if i 've worked out the network address or subnet address, your help will be much appreciated. thanks.
