download WINUHA and install it. right click the .uha file on your desktop and select "extract to \files\" delete what you wanna delete (I suggest eth* and en* files...should slim it down enough...the original is 1135kb and deleting those 3 drivers would make it 1121kb) open up winuha, browse to the folder it's all in, and hit CTRL+5 which selects all items. Note, that's a 5, not an 's'. Then click "add selected" at the top. don't change any options here...click Advanced, check the command line option, delete the defaults, and add the following command line from his website without "winuha" at the beginning. NetBootDisk.com - The Universal TCP/IP Network Bootdisk for M$ Networks for the command line to recreate the UHA file...just use: a -y+ -p- -r -mx -ac+ files.uha .\zip\*.* you also may have a corrupt/old download of netbootdisk.

I should have mentioned, you need to do all of those procedures from a Windows XP box.

For USB method: 1. Format a floppy disk as a MSDOS Bootable disk, and then copy all files off of that disk onto a folder on your computer. 2. Enable hidden files and system files viewing 3. Erase everything on the USB drive with the HP USB formatting tool, and use the option "Create a DOS startup disk using DOS system files located at" and point it to the folder you made in Step 1. 4. Download NetBootDisk and run MakeDisk.bat, then: a. Press enter b. Type in the USB drive letter for your drive, colon and press enter (ex. E:) c. Type in USB (USB) and press enter d. Press enter and close out of IE popup window 5. Edit some of the files in it: a. autoexec.bat set MenuBeep=0 b. menupref.bat Set LOGONSCRIPT=ghost.bat rem TIMEOUT=0 c. boot.zip make sure it contains COMMAND.COM...if not, copy from your floppy drive folder d. FileCopy folder create a file called ghost.bat, and add into that batch the line: N:\ghost.exe copy your ghost.exe you use for ghostcasting into this folder also e. copy over my FILES.UHA Should work on almost all computers!

You only need to replace your current FILES.UHA with the one I have linked above.

the downside is that you will have NO mouse support. cutemouse hasn't released any updates in a long time, so I am unable to fix that and there are no alternatives.

netbootdisk allows you to put all of it on a single USB that can run batch process while still having mouse detection support and autodetecting loads of network cards. it's a huge timesaver.

I understand the need for the bot filter, but luckily I'm not a bot...just a helpful person.

I've updated the following drivers in the netbootdisk to their newest versions (as in the "last modified date" of each .dos file). I've also updated the ndis.map file to hopefully include all new files. As I also have a 6420, this is tested and working with it. The updated files.uha file link is two posts below, to overcome the bot filter this forum has.
